Thank you, Joan Sheehan
After many years of involvement, Joan Sheehan is stepping down as president and as a member of the Board of Directors. The board wishes to pay tribute to her.
The Fondation Roger Lamont supports socially and economically disadvantaged people and families in Saint-Gabriel-de-Valcartier. Christmas hampers, year-round food assistance, support for seniors and community gardens: together, we are building a more caring community.
Donations are processed by CanadaHelps (Valcartier community fundation). An official receipt is issued automatically.
A deeply involved citizen of our municipality, Roger Lamont worked for some thirty years at Bédard Québec and served as a volunteer firefighter for many years.
He sincerely believed in lending a hand without asking for anything in return. This foundation carries on his name and his spirit: helping your neighbour.

The Board of Directors of the Fondation Roger Lamont is pleased to announce that Pamala Hogan is now Chair of the Board, succeeding Joan Sheehan.
Involved with the Foundation for several years, notably as the contact person for donations and community contributions, she will carry on the Foundation's mission with the people and families in need of Saint-Gabriel-de-Valcartier.
The whole team offers her its full support in her new role.
See the Board of DirectorsThe Foundation's purpose is to support every socially and economically disadvantaged person in our municipality. Even though we live in a privileged area, not everyone can claim the same living conditions.
The Foundation was created to build an even more caring community, taking over and extending the work of the Fondation Oasis.
